Where every smile tells a story of hope and every hand seeks a future of belonging
At AGAPE we are dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and nurturing home for children in India who have been orphaned or affected by HIV. Through compassionate residential care, essential medical support, emotional healing, and quality education, we strive to empower each child to rise above their circumstances and build a future filled with hope, dignity, and opportunity. Our mission is to ensure that every child—regardless of their HIV status—is valued, supported, and given the tools to lead a self-sufficient, fulfilling life. Because every child deserves a family, a future, and the chance to thrive.
Agape was founded in 2003 in Hyderabad, India, by Lynne Voggu. What began with six children who lost their parents to AIDS has grown into a sanctuary caring for nearly 250 HIV infected and affected orphaned children, providing them with a loving home, education, healthcare, and hope for the future.
Many of our children are full orphans, while others have no family support. To break the stigma surrounding AIDS and ensure every child has access to quality education, we established our own school in 2005. Today, AGAPE supports children at every stage of life—from early childhood through higher education and even marriage—empowering them to become independent and self-sufficient.
We are committed to providing food, shelter, medical care, education, and counseling, empowering each child to reach their full potential. At AGAPE, HIV is not the end of the story—it’s the beginning of a new journey filled with hope, dignity, and opportunity.
